I'm a new grad with a job offer in the OKC area. I'm a single female who grew up on the east coast and has never been to OK. Does anyone have advice on where to live or any info about the area? I wont have the opportunity to visit until at least July and could use some advice before I take the job.

There are already a few similar, active threads you should probably read through, as there are comments in favor of and against OKC/Oklahoma:

Perhaps those could help you to refine your query to get more specific answers.

Where is your job going to be located. That would help.

Although for new grads..........

Northwest OKC, Norman and Edmond would be the best fits unless you want to live close to downtown/Bricktown.

NW OKC around lake Hefner seems to be a good spot for young adults due to the activities around the lake.

Its in the Midwest City area. I don't really want more of a commute than 20 minutes but I've done 30 before.
