I'm not looking for anything outrageous or exclusive. Just a regular builder (think ideal homes, home creations) that can build a family home for me.

Besides Ideal and Home creations, are there any other builders that I should hit up?

Here is a list of home builders in the OKC area that are partners with Energy Star.

Builders in Oklahoma City : ENERGY STAR

using an energy star builder and getting an energy star home will save you between $500-$600 a year in energy costs. If you get an FHA Energy Efficient Mortgage the mortgage company can increase the debt to income ratio from 29% to 33% meaning you can buy more house if you want, on the same income.

Is alan farrell talking about alan ferrell in the third person? Perhaps alan farrell can tell us about their energy star energy efficient mortgage program?

just kidding around, but I would like to know what kind of energy efficiency standard you are building your homes to.
