In the days when I still had cleavage I would stick wet, cold chicks there. Thank the Goddess for GP

Reminds me of the Righteous Brothers song "You've lost that lovin' feelin'"......tended to happen when you start feeling friendly and you find a chicken where something else should be.

So that's why my hubby just said he wants to be a baby chick in his next life... I thought he had been in the sun too long.

If you didn't ask the question, I was going to.

The remaining 3 turkey chicks were very cold and near death, so I brought them in an put a hairdryer on them. Two of them revived pretty quick but the third took a long time to warm up.

So I stuck it under the blankets with GP, who was still asleep. I figured if I sneak it in and out he'd never notice

After about 30 minutes I went back to check on the turkey and GP said: "I think it is ready to go again". I guess he DID notice

So now we have 3 turkeys in the bath tub, a bunch of chicks on the porch with a heat lamp and a sick chick on my desk.

What a life ..............
That's terrible. I'm sorry to hear that....
I didn't realize they were so delicate...

Have you guys heard anything about the two girls who were murdered either Sun. or Mon.? It was something about a sleepover and they were last seen walking along a country road? I heard the brief of it on CNN and I also looked on their website. All they had was a video and it wouldn't load.
