The Majority of Baltimore has gone down the toilet , but the Minority which is left behind is still enough
to make BALTIMORE A WORLD CLASS CITY....Oklahoma City is NOT A WORLD CLASS CITY neither is
TULSA OKLAHOMA and to add insult to pain you can not find me a single city in MIS........... that would
be classified as a world class city now can you(?)....

I'm passive aggressive against the great state of MIS.................. because it is the most conservative
and racist state in the union , however when I lived there I never had a racist encounter or act directed
toward me. That bodes good for the state as far as howest2008 is concern , but not so good for the other
great AA of MIS............. who live and work there every day and love it with all of theirs heart. The (AA)
African American who actually live in MIS........... are the Salt of the Earth they actually Love Whites Who Murder Family Members because of the color of theirs skin and are in constant Denial of allowing them all of theirs Civil Rights. OMG! See Howest? Let that be a lesson to you. When a city or country is run by whites everything is right in the world.

I agree with teakboat and many others of all races that the inexcusable behavior of the majority of the rioters in Baltimore who looted, burned, were in general idiots! Criminals who saw an opportunity to rob, steal, and destroy other people's property. But the core reason for rioting in the first place was due to generations of oppression.

Am I excusing the behavior or minimizing it? No. But I have an insight that teakboat doesn't have and that is my own personal experience with bigotry.

My parents and grandparents are hard working christians who don't drink, worked hard all their lives and never broke the laws. Yet I watched them get treated like SH*T by the majority of white folks in town, every time we went to town. The bank, the grocery store, the laundry mat, every where we went, it was this horrible contempt aimed at us. Why? Simply because we are Native American. Thank my blue-eyed god there was one store on the edge of town that was owned by a white man who did not treat NDN's like SH*T.

Try living through that treatment year after year after year, generation after generation. And it is NOT in the past. I have been denied service twice in my life. Sad, but true. OMG, and it was in a town run by whites!!! <sarcasm>

Protesting against a long history of blatant racism may be childish liberalism socialism to you, but in my opinion if you have a country that has a long history of treating people like SH due to their race, then you reap what you sow.

And no, I am not defending wanton destruction or looting.

Well, since I guess since we're are not being cynical about it, I have lots of black friends. And as a business owner, I would hire any black man who I believed would help me make money. No actual racism here up to a point. But I have noticed that it seems to be cool and automatic to mock or hate on white people these days. I am tired of seeing it.

I deal mainly with white people in my day to day life. And I hear almost zero, candid racist remarks from any of them. So there is no giant white conspiracy against black people as far as I am aware. Or at least I did not receive that fax memo from the white race headquarters.

Oh well. The point I was making was some people seem unable or unwilling to understand where so much anger comes from that incites a riot. When people are unable to right what they feel is wrong for so many years, rioting is their perceived way to express that anger and frustration, etc. It is not a cop out, because many try and use legal means to right perceived wrongs (racism). When that fails, you get riots. Maybe the 1776 rebellion against the mother country rings a bell?

There is a REASON, a justifiable reason for the mocking and hatred. Am I getting through to you at all? Some folks do not hate other races and sadly, they are in the minority.

It's ironic that you see "that it seems to be cool and automatic to mock or hate on white people these days" when a lot of black people are accused of "seeing racism when racism isn't there"

I certainly don't see any mocking or hating on white people from my view.

And as far as your black friends. Have you ever asked them about their experiences regarding racism?
