The new general issue features the State bird with a blue on white motif, and is becoming more common month by month. It is kind of bland, but clean. Thoughts?

I'm in Texas and when I first saw it, Oklahoma was like the LAST state I would have guessed! I can't really make out the design. The color scheme also is not one I would equate with Native America theme Oklahoma. Would have been better off making it in Sooner or OSU school colors.

Does OK have personalized plates for OU and OSU? Most States do for their major universities. I think that is a better way to go about it, as opposed to applying colors to the entire State.

I didn't think there was anything wrong with the old plate. It was distinct and somewhat iconic. Sort of like Texas' old plate with the starry sky, space shuttle, and the cowboy. That one was way more iconic than the one they have now.

Saw several new plates in the parking lot for a reunion in Durant Ok Saturday. I found them hard to figure out state or if it was a special plate of some kind. I found it confusing and not eye catching in a positive way.
