Yea, it's only about an hour away from me. Laura wrote the book while they lived by Desmet. They have something like Laura Ingalls Wilder days every year. Kinda cool.

Oh man that scared the crap out of me. I think that one looks poisonous. Yesterday as I was wading through the water I worried about the black water snake I saw only two days before. I was afraid he would slither by my legs, but didnt see any, thank goodness

Little House was one of my favorite shows. The early ones (as is the case in most shows) were the best.
