Bring out the t-shirts. Still a bit early for water holes though.

Is it true you Okies elected a nazi to the city council? Where was the American Legion and the Veterans of Foreign Wars while this was going on? How do you look yourselves in the mirror? How come this nazi wasn't tarred and feathered and run out of town? Oh, wait, weren't you the ones killed those Osage people over mineral rights on their reservation?

A delightful Spring day in Oklahoma. Time to clean up the patio, dust cushions and consider happy hour outside later today. Daylight savings time brought 5:00 a bit closer:>)

A small town (Enid) elected a suspected neo nazi. And when running for office no one was aware of his past. I am not sure how that makes it "you Okies" like everyone it the state had something to do with it. With the terrible things that happened to the Osage people 100 years ago. No one alive today had anything to do with that.

But hey BMW R1100, is it true you Americans allowed slavery exist for almost 100 years of America's existence? And you kicked the natives off their lands and sent them on the "trail of tears". How do you look yourself in the mirror? See how that works? Blaming people who happen to live in the same state or country where bad things have happened but had nothing to do with those things is silly and simply trolling.

But its funny. I am from California. I have family that probably goes back further than yours does. Back in the 1920's my ancestors bought some land near Los Angeles. A few years back my parents wanted to sell the land and I looked at the original deed. It said the land could only be sold to people of the Caucasian race. That is how it was back then. Lots of racist stuff all over including in your California. Rocks, glass houses, etc.

Oklazona Bound; Thanks for the reply, the first of one. Hmm, no one was aware of his past? I find that hard to believe in the Google age.

LOL. The dude you are talking about was an Ex Marine. Went to the trendy church in town and didn't broadcast that he was in the Christian identity movement.

His preacher was one of the big muckity mucks in that town and he called the accusations that he the guy was a neo nazi "character assassination" and talked about what an exemplary Christian he was.

There is actually a recall election on this guy next week.

As far as the Osage thing. The guys main guys behind that were Texans who moved to Oklahoma and realized they could steal the Osage headrights. So you can blame Texas. LOL.
