Bad news for the okies. The first mosquito found its way onto my computer screen. The one thing I really like about winter here is that the bugs are pretty much absent. Them skeeters have a fondness for porky NDN meat.

Except for the occasional lady bug infestation and the ticks, winter is great.

We are trying to salvage one more year out of our lawnmower, and it looks like the durn thing is going to cost us. Since our pickup is not runnng, they are going to charge us to pick up the lawn mower too!

We need a friend who is unemployed and who can work on lawn mowers. Used to always have a friend like that.

P.S. LadyRobyn, thank you for what you did last night, it needed doing.

Then I must have some of that meat hiding under my wrinkly pasty white exterior, because they just ADORE me! I wear long-sleeves and they bite through the fabric... I wear repellent and they just land in the stuff and daub it behind their ears like cologne! I swear these okie mosquitoes are some TOUGH stuff!

His name is MK and if you can get him up there, he will have your lawnmower humming like a new sewing machine in no time! You would be amazed at what he did for ours!! (I think our is about 10 years old? )

Or the Auto thread. It will be appreciated there. Those condos are kind of "buh".

Why would anyone build condos right next to a race track? Oh. To watch the races. Okay, I get it.

They're still ugly though. Like a projects for millionaires.

I ~should~ have DM'd MK, but I didn't think. Our lawn mower is really REALLY old and decrepit. I hate it. Next time I hit at the casino, it's going for a brand spanking new HONDA lawn mower! Sorry, those John Deere's are too 'spensive.
