You've got that right, unless your idea of pizza is a thick slab of soggy bread, covered with wholesale generic canned tomato sauce, a 1/2 inch of imitation rubbery cheese-like substance and then meat byproduct.

There is a third option of course. Pizza from Italy, New York, a few places in CA, etc. where they really excel in legendary pizza making. I haven't found anything like that in Omaha.

billiefan, as you can see from this thread and millions of threads out there in cyberspace, there is no answer to that question. The answers will only be worth the time to read if it includes a rather detailed description of what the writer considers a good pizza. One writer says that Dante is toppings on tissue paper, while another poster will tell you that Dante is the closest thing to the fantastic pizza found in Naples Italy (where it was invented, and perfected). Who's opinion you relate to is the key

Pizza ranch is truly awful. There's really not much debate to be had with it; it's a mediocre buffet with very generic corporate pizza and 'fried' chicken that tastes reheated.

I went to Pizza Ranch once up here because there wasn't one in Omaha and I wanted to try it. Once was enough. There are too many good restaurants here to waste money on that crap. Hell, even Little Caesars is better and only $5.

I forgot about Little Caesars. That's the best pizza in Omaha.
