I was reading through these hoping to see a reference to those commercials. I grew up in the time of "Artie Grindles Tropic Traveler Vans", and always thought those vans in the commercials were the coolest things cause they had no roof.

I remember ridding go karts in the rain there (normally no rides when wet) that was sometime in 79. And I dont know what it was called Then.

I now live in Greenville SC and to my amaizment I saw somebody driving an Art Grindle van the other day.
