Isn't that part of the project that will also run down to Miami? If so, it's a loooong way off.

What needs to happen is to fix the traffic nightmare along I-Drive.

There is the All Aboard Florida train, which will run from Orlando International Airport to South Florida. Then there the Maglev train running from the future intermodal terminal at OIA (which will also have the All Aboard Florida train terminal) to the Convention Center in I-Drive with stops at the Florida Mall and several throughout the Convention Center area. This is also several years down the road, and it won't really do anything to help the northern areas of I-Drive.

I-Drive really isn't that bad. I hear people complain about the traffic all the time, but realistically, it's no worse than any other area that's either packed with tourists, or just busy in general.

Interesting read. Nice to know others view I Drive as more superior to Downtown. Makes sense.

No, it doesn't. And no local would ever think this.
