Please help w advice...we are a family of 4 w 2 toddlers. School zone is important. Looking for a safe neighborhood. REnting our first year till we settle and explore the city. My husband will be working on the SE side of Orlando International Airport and wants no more than a 30 min commute.

We found a brand new apartment building in Audubon Park called Elan Audubon. It's tucked away near the target back there. We're located in South florida so I can't check it out. Is this a safe neighborhood or is it to sketchy/unsafe located near Colonial Drive? Address is 990 Warehouse Rd, 32803

Thanks for your help.

I haven't heard of these particular apartments, but the Audubon Park and North Colonialtown areas are considered very desirable neighborhoods, even with the proximity to Colonial (and that section of Colonial isn't in a high crime area). You are also right near Baldwin Park, which is a very expensive community. I looked at a rental in the area a few years ago and the location seemed very nice and decently safe.
