My husband and myself will be empty nesters very soon. We would like to move to the Orlando are. We are both in our mid 50's. We will both be retired and hoping to work part time with Disney. Wher are the nicer places to relocate to?

Default hi there

I would have to say Winter Garden. I live here in a community about a 5 min drive for Disney's Magic Kingdom. We see the fireworks nightly and it is a love ly community. Celebration is going the other way but you will find the prices very expensive and the taxes and HOA also very expensive.

I 2nd Winter Garden. The Sand Lake/ Dr Phillips area is nice too. It will depend on your finances. Metro West has some nice condos, but be careful, because Metro-West can go from nice to not-so nice in one block.

Default Wow

Ive got to be honest with you, but considering one of the areas which was recommended was Winter Garden, i am working with one family who have put an offer in on a 3 bed 3 bath with a view of Disney fireworks for $150,000.

There are houses in the same neighbourhood resale and brand new which are lower in price than your townhome

If we do accept the job offer and move there I wanna view of the fireworks too. Especially since there aint no mountains or anything to look at. What neighborhood specifically is that in Winter Garden?

I would say Windermere or Bay Lake. You can also try Tangelo Park.

Default hi

We love it, and when we decide to upgrade from our townhome to a house we will deffinatly stay in the area, simply because prices are good, there is no short term rental in the area, the access is fantastic, and we are so close to Disney. some of the areas i am talking about are actually the areas i sent to you pollyprincess.
