The Fiat dealer in St Louis still has 2014 models on the lot. They are discounting them $4000 at least.
I'd love to buy one, but I don't want another car payment!
I wrote a loan for one today, a 2015 model with 5k miles. Sold for $11,700, sticker was $19,250. Single girl in her twenties. She even opted for the manual.
I'd have the Abarth in a minute....except I need a back seat for a 4 month old, and I already have a Fiesta ST.
Fiat's well-earned reputation for unreliability has not been forgotten in this country. Years ago my sister owned an X1/9 that looked sharp but it was the biggest piece of junk I have ever seen. Almost everything that could have broken on it did. Parts were expensive and often had to be ordered from Italy. It once spent three weeks sitting in the dealer's service department waiting for a part to fix an electrical problem.
you can get a brand spanking new one 500 pop with manual transmission for $9999. at Towbin in Las Vegas..... 500X's are 10k off MSRP and the 500L is $16K new.....

A 40 year old X1/9 is not a modern Fiat. However, in the US the cheap fuel prices are killing the 500 series. The product line is also old and really due for a refresh.

This. With gas as cheap as it is, few care about fuel efficiency. If gas goes to $3 or $4/gallon nationwide, watch out.
Didn't know about this forum even though I've been on the main Austin page since late '07.
Interesting that the first three threads were about FIAT and Alfa Romeo...cool!
I just traded our '15 500L Lounge for the last '17 500L on our dealer's lot. Essentially the same vehicle but with the gigunzo moonroof on the new one. We've had nine Volvos and a number of other entry level luxury vehicles; but paying closer to $20k for a new car is sure appealing!!
For whatever reason, the Austin FIAT studio is one of the top sales dealers in the US pretty regularly. I'm very pleased with our (old and ) new FIAT !

I was not a fan of my 14 L with the Automatic. Love my 2017 L with the Japanese arisin transmission and the giant roof. 10,000 miles driven from sub zero Maine to Miami heat with no hiccups.
500madness sells an auto flash that woke up the transmission.. car has pep.
