Firstly, thanks for all your kind words of welcome.
Secondly, what the heck do I think of today?
How about this one; you've been watching a movie on the TV and you've been engrossed in it. The movie ends and there you are contemplating on what you've seen and the atmospheric music comes up as the credits play.
Suddenly, and loudly, an announcer talks over all of this telling you about the next programme (that's how I spell it ) and the moment is lost.
Oh, and the credits that you've been looking at because you want to see who played someone have shrunk to the side of the screen.
So CDers, you lucky folks get two for the price of one today! Summing it up, it's how they spoil the end of a movie.

I usually want to check out the songs, which are at the end of the credits and by that time, the writing is so small and rolling so fast, I can't see it.
Like Tas, a lot of times they play songs in the movie that I'd like to get more info about, but it's scrolling so fast I can't read it - then on top of it the screen shrinks. Glad there's the net, but geesh they put the info/credits right there, so slow that bad boy down where it's not scrolling at the speed of light.
I rarely watch any movies on TV anymore except those I've already watched a dozen times before because I like them.......so this isn't a big deal to me. Besides you can always go to imdb.com and look up the movie for its credits.
I know what you mean Jezer. If you really liked a particular actor/actress and you're waiting to see who the star was and the credits are flying by or zap!, get minimized and you're left sitting there, feeling like a dope for even being interested! DOH! Movie editors, get a grip!
As much as anything chatters, what really hacks me off is the way you are suddenly hit by an announcer telling you what is on next, or somesuch.
There is no time for reflection and/or to listen to the music, perhaps the theme tune, being played.
