Pam, Thank you for teaching us how to do smilies. Now, I want to answer "Today's Question." I see that everyone nicely pastes the question and then types their answer into it. Can you tell us how to do that? Thanks! -cityflair
1. Hit the "quote" button in the lower right hand corner of the post.
2. Next, edit the quote. Delete the symbols that look like this: [ QUOTE ] and [ /QUOTE]. I also usually delete all text except the questions.
3. If you want your answers to be in color, be sure to bold face the answer, too. I find it's easiest to Write the first answer, then highlight it and hit the buttons for color and bold face (you'll see these buttons in the upper left of your message box; colors have an A and boldface has a B.)
4. Once I have the first answer completed, I simply cut and paste it after every question, then go back and edit the text. That seems a lot easier to me than bolding and coloring each answer.
I just quickly click and drag to highlight what I want to copy. Then I right-click and choose "copy." Then I start a new window to post my answers, place my cursor there, right-click and choose "paste."
For my answers, I just click on B and A to make it bold and choose my color when I start to type.
Ok,,,, Please stop talking about how to “paste” the text info. What I need to know is“how to I get all this sticky glue off the monitor after I change screens?”

Guess I'm lazy.
1 Copy the what you want to respond too.
2 Past them in Quick Reply.
3 Edit as required and answer questions.
4 Submit Post Quick Reply.
Pam has it right! I go to the bottom of the OP. Left click and drag up as far as i wish to copy. This highlights it ...right click ..hit copy. Go to your new post box with cursor inside the box right click and hit paste. Simple! Too many are still using quote......but it's up to the individual of course.
