Today's Question(s):

What was the last "bet" you made with a friend or family member ? I don't. They get tired of losing.

Bonus Question:

What was your favorite Comic Book(s) while growing up ?

Superman, Blackhawk (Sacrebleu!), Batman, Green Lantern.

Extra Credit Question:

Lets talk a little more about traveling

When planning a trip do you:
Book everything yourself ?
Use a travel Agent ?
Book online ?
Book on the phone ?

All of the above depending on the trip.

Have you ever used Traveler Checks ? Yes. Years ago that's all we used. The tellers used to try to charge us for them and we had to make them check our account type because we didn't pay for them. We still don't pay for any services. The advantage of having an account at the same bank for 40 years.

Just for Fun:

When you just don't feel like cooking, what is your
"go to" meal solution ? Cheese, crackers and sausage. Quiznos. Papa Johns delivery. These are the most common.

Today in History:
1802 - 1st comic book "The Wasp," is published
1891 - Travelers checks patented

1967 - Beatles' "All You Need is Love" is released
1972 - 1st women FBI members sworn in
1981 - Sandra Day O'Connor nominated for the Supreme Court

Word of the Day:
futilitarian \fyoo-til-i-TAIR-ee-uhn\ , adjective;
1. Believing that human hopes are vain and unjustified

Today's Question(s):

What was the last "bet" you made with a friend or family member ?
The only thing I can think of is when my ten year old nephew says, "I betcha can't do this." He's always right.

Bonus Question:

What was your favorite Comic Book(s) while growing up ?
I didn't read comics much. Let's see.... maybe Veronica and Archie.

Extra Credit Question:

Lets talk a little more about traveling

When planning a trip do you: Living alone on a teacher's salary doesn't allow for traveling far. It's been years since I've flown anywhere.

Have you ever used Traveler Checks ? A long, long time ago.

Just for Fun:

When you just don't feel like cooking, what is your
"go to" meal solution ? Pasta. It doesn't take long to cook.

I only work three days a week during the summer & have my youngest grandbundle on Thursdays. She's taking a nap & Grammie's resting for a bit. Even with the monitor I keep going in to check on her. It brings back memories...
Have a great night!
