I don't use WiFi so I don't have to deal with the charges. However, I think it's terrible to charge for it.

What a huge ship. We went via cruise ship to and from Hawaii twice in the 50s. I only remember the 2nd time and I was old enough to appreciate it but I was sea sick most of the trip and drank consummé at every meal on the way over. I missed out on some good chow. Coming back I was 5 years older and didn't get sick. : )

Being charged high WiFi connection charges to a captive audience.


I wonder if the WiFi cost anything for those who were stuck on the SS PU ships that Carnival has? What a nightmare that must have been for the passengers and they didn’t get reimbursed that well when leaving the ships. I thought I heard they got a ½ price ticket for “another” cruise and paid airfare back to their home town.
