An associate professor who teaches biochemistry at the University of Saskatchewan has come up
with an idea to get more students interested in science - have them evaluate the health benefits from
picking their nose and eating it
The professor would like to conduct a study where some type of molecule is inserted into people’s noses -
then half of the participants will pick their nose (& eat it) and the other half won’t.
“I think the challenge would be getting volunteers to participate in this experiment,” he says with a laugh.
“Especially if you didn’t know which group you were going to fall into.”
My brother stuck a dried pea in his nose when he was little. Took a trip in the middle of the night to the ER to get it removed. Didn't take a study to find out it wasn't going to be good for him whether he ate it or not.

I think the professor is getting a little.. Nosey with this and I'm not sure if students will.. Pick up on that, and I hope they won't.. but I suppose school officials cannot say a lot of students were caught.. Picking their nose during class. I think I'll pass and Pick a different food for a source of protein..

My sister did that with a bean seed and after a few days it started to sprout and grow………………….. she had to be taken to the doctor’s office who helped get it out.
I smell more research needed on this topic that will shed more light on things...
