Morning y’all
. . . . . Didja Know?
An associate professor who teaches biochemistry at the University of Saskatchewan has come up
with an idea to get more students interested in science - have them evaluate the health benefits from
picking their nose and eating it

The professor would like to conduct a study where some type of molecule is inserted into people’s noses -
then half of the participants will pick their nose (& eat it) and the other half won’t.

“I think the challenge would be getting volunteers to participate in this experiment,” he says with a laugh.
“Especially if you didn’t know which group you were going to fall into.”

Nose-picking could be good for you, says Saskatchewan professor

My brother stuck a dried pea in his nose when he was little. Took a trip in the middle of the night to the ER to get it removed. Didn't take a study to find out it wasn't going to be good for him whether he ate it or not.

Four to six year olds would be perfect for this study but it would be a problem having half the group not pick and eat.

It has been so long since I was around kids my age range for nose pickers might need adjustment.

I think the professor is getting a little.. Nosey with this and I'm not sure if students will.. Pick up on that, and I hope they won't.. but I suppose school officials cannot say a lot of students were caught.. Picking their nose during class. I think I'll pass and Pick a different food for a source of protein..

My sister did that with a bean seed and after a few days it started to sprout and grow………………….. she had to be taken to the doctor’s office who helped get it out.

Ha! I have a feeling that professor will indeed have problems getting folks to participate in that experiment...lol.
