Continuing to write 2013

Oh Man.. and I just got used to writing 2012, now I gotta get used to writing... what year is this again?..

Actually, long before paying bills online, I remember writing a check to pay a bill over 20 years ago and mailing it in early January of 1991 if I remember correctly, but with the previous year on the check date.. Needless to say, the bank returned the check to the payee, who subsequently returned it to me because back then checks were only good for a certain number of days.

Continuing to write 2013.

I have already started to reprogram my brain to write 2013, oops I mean 2014.

Wonder what Poppy is thinking about.

Oui, bien sûr, je le comprends. Merci for the link, Jez! J'aime beaucoup Sting. (I hope we don't get in trouble for this, as I believe there's a policy on C-D that prohibits posting in languages other than English.)

Quelle shame.

Check out Miles Kington's Franglais!

The only thing I could find to post was this- it's my kind of humour.

Very funny, Jez! That reminds me of something I read once in a biography of Judy Garland. At parties, she and her friends liked to invent their own silly translations for French phrases. For example, la même chose meant "Your fly is open"
