Hi, kids! It's hard to believe the weekend is done and it's time to welcome a new week. Scroll on down for Today's Tip!
REMOVING INK STAINS
If you've managed to stain upholstery or carpet with ink, it's important to treat the spot as soon as possible, before it has a chance to set in. Here's what to do:
Take a clean toothbrush and dip it in some rubbing alcohol (isopropyl alcohol).
Shake off the excess alcohol and then very gently brush the ink spot.
Then take a clean, dry cloth and gently blot (don't rub) the stain to pick up the ink.
Repeat if necessary.
You can use this same technique on some garments. Try it in an inconspicuous place first to make sure it won't harm the fabric.

Good tip Pam. Can I do the same to my shirts. Some of my shirts look like they came from the Swiss cheese factory where I've cut out all the stains. The holes are okay during the summer as they let the cool air in from the hot weather, but in the winter I have to wear a coat to hide them...

Another good tip for ink stains, PJ! So, it's alcohol in addition to toothpaste (Nov tip)... good to know we have options! Like I stated back then, the only one I'd ever heard about for ink was hairspray which sort of works!
What a nifty tip. I've never heard about this before, but definitely will keep in mind.
