Happy Birthday, Molly!

Now the peeve...

I hate it when businesses, or contractors give you a price on their services and it seems too high, and you decline. Then, they come back later with a " discounted " price for the same thing. Why not be honest and give a fair price in the first place that someone might accept instead of trying to scalp a person? When someone comes out to talk to me and they find out I'm retired, automatically I am rolling in dough, and they move in for the kill. That's the quickest way for me to say...NO!

First, Happy Birthday, Molly!

About the peeve - yep, that's another good one, Jezer. I have started books and magazines and set them aside, only for them to end up misplaced in the shuffle of other books and magazines and piles of mail. Sometimes I'll find a book that I was half-way through many months prior, so I'll just start it again from the beginning.

"Happy Birthday" to you Molly...

That middle picture of the girl looks just like my sister in her younger days.

Good peeve, I spend 1/2 my time looking for the things spouse loses.

Where the heck did that go to?

Ahh, the old missing object that I am missing peeve. The Super Chief goes on a tear every once in awhile rearranging the household. The latest missing object just happened to be MY jewelry case theta has resided in the same spot for ages. Well, it turned up missing.

So I gently and politely asked if she new where it might be. She thinks I'm accusing her of being a thief (ha, ha). She gently and politely show me the new location of said chest that she relocated to a place I would never think to look.

Why doesn't she tell me when she moves my stuff?

Oh, and Happy Birthday Molly.

Such great pictures of your birthday girl!! We always love to see them, Jez.

One of my famous questions in this house is...."Who else lives here?", because hubby swears he doesn't move stuff around. We are the only two here, besides the cat.
