Indeed!...and many other people too...lol. Profanity isn't good of course but to prohibit it is going a bit too far IMO.
And btw SATX, that was an interesting sign on the previous page about Stinson airport. I didn't know it had such an interesting history.
It's definitely got history Dave. I've grown up around it. It's only a 1/4 mile if that from my home. Like 2 blocks away. Lindbergh and Earhart have flown there. Started out as Windburn field (I think first named for a reporter that died in a crash) if I recall correctly. It's the 2nd longest continuously running airport in the nation.
Here's a picture of the same famous sign.. but about 3 decades earlier.. in June of 1978, and I think one of the Os was down that day for some reason...

Yeah, I think the sign has had times of poor upkeep over the years. My shot was taken from up at the Griffith Observatory.
Sadly, I don't have photo proof, but one of the funniest signs I've encountered was on the side of a fairly rural road in Northern California. It was crudely hand-painted on scrap wood and posted at the end of a driveway outside a farmhouse. It said, "No Sex Here!" My husband and I used to laugh hysterically every time we drove by.
