What is a funny line from a song, silly or otherwise, that always makes you laugh? The Yellow Brick Road tune.. I chuckle every time knowing certain people tripped over those dang bricks.. I won't mention and names.. but Straw comes to mind..

Not into rummage sales. Seems everytime I move I end up donating/tossing 90 percent of my stuff. Have decided to quit buying stuff I don't need.

Bonus Question(s):
Are you a reader?
Use to be

If so, what kinds of books do you like to read?
Short stories. Mostly humor.

Do you have a favorite book, or one that has changed your life?
Does my little black book count?

Just for Fun:

From Convention 72

Ah, Mr Agnew if you were in Senator McGovern's place
Who would you have chosen as a running mate
Bertha
Bertha, who
Bertha Butt
Who, she, Sir
One of the Butt Sisters
Do you agree, Mr Kissinger
Gotta find a woman
Gotta find a woman
Gotta find a woman
Gotta find a woman

Today's Question(s):
How do you feel about rummage sales (also called garage/yard/tag/sidewalk sales)?
I have had one at my place - many years ago
I have helped organize for someone else
I stop every time I see one
I'll stop occasionally - used to - these days don't stop at all! Am in pruning mode, not acquisition mode!
I've never been to one
Other?

Bonus Question(s):
Are you a reader? Yes
If so, what kinds of books do you like to read? Whatever my interest (or obsession!) is at the time - at the moment it's genealogy
Do you have a favorite book, or one that has changed your life? Not really

Just for Fun:
What is a funny line from a song, silly or otherwise, that always makes you laugh?
It's from the one and only country and western song that I love - "You Never Even Call Me by My Name" by David Allan Coe:
"
Well, I was drunk the day my mom got out of prison
And I went to pick her up in the rain
But before I could get to the station in my pickup truck
She got runned over by a damned old train."

Thanks Pats!

Happy what's left of Hump Day to everyone... it's already Thursday lunchtime here!

Today's Question(s):

I've never been to one

Bonus Question(s):
Are you a reader?
Yes.
If so, what kinds of books do you like to read?
I love fantasy and sci-fi.
I also enjoy reading classic literature as well as non-fiction in psychology and art/design.

Do you have a favorite book, or one that has changed your life?
The Lord of the Rings, probably.
I've read this book so many times, while growing up, it has fallen apart. And every time I revisit it, I find things that I have previously overlooked.

Just for Fun:

"Pintame, Le dije yo al pintor, pintame la carita, de la niña mas bonita, dentro de mi corazon."

I'll stop occasionally <------They're fun, but I am in the getting-rid-of-stuff mode, not the buying-more mode.
I've never been to one
Other?

Bonus Question(s):
Are you a reader?
Very much so. All my life.
If so, what kinds of books do you like to read?
I enjoy biographies, history and books about classic Hollywood.
Do you have a favorite book, or one that has changed your life?
Little Women was a huge influence on me when I was a child. Due to a divorce I grew up without a mother for the most part, and I had no sisters. Marmee, Meg, Jo, Beth and Amy became the mom and sisters I wish I'd had.

Just for Fun:
What is a funny line from a song, silly or otherwise, that always makes you laugh?
Steve Martin's "King Tut," with the line "buried in his jammies," always makes me smile. I also like "In the Mood" by the Henhouse Five Plus Two, a Glenn Miller big band classic performed by chickens.

Thanks, PatsCats!

What is a funny line from a song, silly or otherwise, that always makes you laugh? There is this kids song that says, "Little Honey Boo Boo hopping through the forest, gathering all the field mice and bopping them on the head".
