Morning Dave.

Don't worry, Dave. My parents are 70s kids, and they have told me time and time again about how good the 70s were

Although I think they were more influenced by the 2nd half of that decade with the advent of punk rock (I have seen pics of my parents when they were kids dressed up as punks)

I'm one of those annoying Millennials of the Noughties decade; looking back at previous decades is always a hoot, but the 80s especially has me hooked for all the wrong reasons, lol

Hi Zola........ Yeah, the 70s were the decade that fashion forgot. But, like it or lump it, I was 20 years old in 1973. I loved the clothes at that time. It's only looking nowadays at photos taken then, that I can see how bad it was................

I mean, what could be better than being 24 years old, and a record like 'Dancing Queen' coming out? Can you imagine what it was like being in a disco, and that record being played? The whole place rocked to great music. Boy, when the DJ played 'MacArthur Park' by Donna Summer, we went into sheer ecstasy..... and I mean joy, not anything else! The only drugs in discos at that time was booze...........

We're on burgers for dinner. There are four raw quarter pounders sitting in the frying pan behind me here in the kitchen. Another pan is full of sliced onions, and in the halogen oven is a pile of fat chips, covered in seasoning............... food of the gods!! I wonder what Judy and her mother are having?

Over two hours of dancing tonight Zola. Be by your telly at 6.45pm........... you know the channel........

Less than 40 minutes to go before 'Strictly Come Dancing' starts. For over two hours I will be off line, and unavailable by phone except for news of death. In that case, it has better be a very close relative......

Some say 'Strictly' is not a matter of life or death. Of course not....... it is far more important than that!

Strictly what?

We're currently watching "Spaced" over a bottle or two of wine, and some Thai.
