Fryday greetings, boys and girls! I'm a sleepy girl tonight. When I went to bed last night, I couldn't fall asleep and was still awake at 4:01 a.m. I had to get up at 6 a.m. for work. It's after 9 p.m. now, and I just got home. Before I fall asleep on my laptop, let's get going with

When was the last time you had difficulty falling asleep at night? this is the story of my life! I have chronic insomnia.
Does it happen to you often? every single night
Do you do anything to try to help yourself fall asleep? I take a sleeping pill but I'm trying to wean myself off of it.
When I finally fell asleep this morning, I had a really fun dream. In it, comedian Ray Romano and a friend visited my home. *lol* Ray said that he was thinking about buying a treadmill and he wanted to look at mine and see how he liked it before buying one! If you recall a funny dream you've had, please share the story with us. I never remember my dreams.

What breed is/was the service dog? pit mix.......and so is RUBY
Have you ever been on a plane, train or bus with someone who had a service dog with them? WE FLEW FROM FLL TO DETROIT ONCE WITH SERVICE DOGS GOING TO BRAND NEW OWNERS....THEY ACTED BETTER THAN SOME PASSENGERS.....

If so, where and when did you stay? Back in college, we hiked the Waitakere Ranges in New Zealand and we sheltered in a cabin with no doors or windows for the night. When I woke up in the morning, there was an opossum sitting in the rafters over my head, looking down at me.

Have you ever laid in a hammock? Yes. My boss is blind and uses a seeing eye dog. Have you, or has anyone you've known, ever used a service dog? Yes. I worked in a rehab center for newly blinded adults for a few years. Several of our students and one of my fellow instructors had service dogs.
If so, what was the person's affliction? Blindness -- some from accidents and some from disease.
What breed is/was the service dog? Mostly labs but one German shepherd.
Have you ever been on a plane, train or bus with someone who had a service dog with them? Nope.

What do you like on your popcorn? Salt, black pepper and a little parmesan cheese thanks.

What really annoys me are people who disguise their animals as service animals when they really aren't, just so they can take their pet with them wherever they want.

Do you do anything to try to help yourself fall asleep? Can't read because I'll have to finish the book, so that doesn't work. I do take a sleeping aid on occasion, but I usually try to just concentrate on my breathing...anything to make my mind slow down.

As to nightmares I've had in recent years, I could make everyone here have trouble sleeping tonight.
Have you ever spent the night in a cabin? Yes but when we were still doing family camping, we had a Rockwood popup camper we used a lot.
If so, where and when did you stay? Shenandoah National Park, Virginia was the last cabin we stayed in. However many years ago, our pastor gave us the key to his cabin in the cold mountains of New Mexico. It was here that my wife dropped my then very young daughter when the furnace I was trying to light blew up in my face. I was pretty young and dumb in those days.
How long did you stay there? One night. Although we had reservations for several days at Shenandoah NP, we stayed only one night because the mattress was so incredibly hard.

I was dreaming about my last job a couple of nights ago I also had this nightmare about cancer and I was bald. It may have been a premonition because Lucille's friend was just diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer. I had a similar dream right before John's sister was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer.

Yes. Joe Joe Nightmare had a cone on and went under the deck around the tree in our yard and got stuck. I was alone and was trying to figure out how I was going to get him out. I coaxed him to a spot where I could remove the cone and he was able to get out. I think that was the beginning of his name. We only had him for a couple of weeks at the time and it was time to get him neutered. Do you like watching videos of animals doing funny things? Yes especially if it's my boys acting crazy.
