Fryday greetings, boys and girls! I'm a sleepy girl tonight. When I went to bed last night, I couldn't fall asleep and was still awake at 4:01 a.m. I had to get up at 6 a.m. for work. It's after 9 p.m. now, and I just got home. Before I fall asleep on my laptop, let's get going with

When was the last time you had difficulty falling asleep at night? Pretty rare for me. But did have a hard time a few weeks ago. Does it happen to you often? Do you do anything to try to help yourself fall asleep? I do take a Tramadol at bedtime. Never had trouble sleeping anyhow. When I finally fell asleep this morning, I had a really fun dream. In it, comedian Ray Romano and a friend visited my home. *lol* Ray said that he was thinking about buying a treadmill and he wanted to look at mine and see how he liked it before buying one! If you recall a funny dream you've had, please share the story with us. I rarely remember them for long after awakening. I rarely dream these days too.

Have you ever spent the night in a cabin? Of sorts.. If so, where and when did you stay? Park Chalk Bluffs..Uvalde or near there. Also we had youth retreats to HEB ranch in Leaky, Texas in my youth. Also just family camped in Co Can cabins. Also we had cabins or houses on various hunting leases. How long did you stay there? A day or two.

If so, what was the person's affliction? One at least one occasion, blindness. What breed is/was the service dog? On that same occasion, a black lab. I struck up a conversation with the guy for a while. I didn't know him previously. At the end of the conversation, without thinking, I said, "See ya later." Immediately felt bad, like he might think I was being sarcastic or something, but he took it completely in stride as the figure of speech it is. I felt better then. Do you ever eat popcorn while watching TV or a movie? No. At the theater I'll eat a little of his, but I'm not that big on popcorn.

When was the last time you ate popcorn? A couple of months ago. He popped some for himself and I had a handfull. Y'know, popcorn is funny in one way: Smells alluring while popping in the microwave; but burn it, and few things stink worse!

When was the last time you had difficulty falling asleep at night? Mainly it's when I get so involved in a book that I can't stop reading it, and then I don't finish the book until the sun has come up, and oops! That happened a few weeks ago.
Does it happen to you often? Now and then. But since I don't have to be anywhere in the mornings it doesn't matter.
Do you do anything to try to help yourself fall asleep? As a kid I taught myself to do something that I've since learned is a meditation practice: I concentrate on my toes (pay attention to what they are feeling), then continue to concentrate on my ankles, shins, and so on up the body . . . don't think I've ever gotten beyond my knees without falling asleep.
