Greetings peevers.

Boy oh boy- another week gone!

We're ploughing on with things here and we're continuing doing house viewings here in the UK. I have to tell you about one place I visited a couple of days ago- it was the quintessential 'chocolate box' thatched cottage in a village in an area where I used to live. It looked good online, and was reasonably priced for what it was. What could be wrong? I should have guessed- I couldn't stand up straight in three of the rooms. There are some disadvantages to being tall!

Hmm... That got me thinking about a peeve- ever seen something that looks a good price, and you either view it or buy it and find out why it was 'cheap'?

The POTW is;

The price looks good, what could be wrong?

I'm trying to find some different photos after all those Cuba shots. Nothing new taken since I got back, so here with some winter shots taken at home over the last two or three years, one year very wet, another snowy. Look out for a familiar figure in the snowy field!

Craigs List has so many iffy prices on cars that are scams in the making.

We bought some glass subway tiles for our kitchen back splash last week, We're supposed to pick them up today but I found some that are so close in color for a dollar a piece at another place. We paid $2.50 a piece. I talked to the tile place yesterday and they offered to throw in a bag of grout. I laughed and said that I doubted a bag of grout would cost us $500 dollars. That's how far apart we are on the tile. I may cancel the order today if they don't give us a better deal. They argued that the quality wasn't there for the tiles at the other place and I laughed at that as well. They're the same.

Oh I totally agree here! Funny you look for cars, spring from lowest price to highest, and they show these cars for $1.00.... but the real price is well over 25k or more. Why do they do that!

Jezer, those pics are breath taking, thanks so much for sharing! 😃

I just got an e-mail from an online clothing site that I have purchased from before. "Sale!" it proclaimed. "Last chance!" So I visited the site, and some of the prices were quite cheap. But there was a reason. The items on sale were items that hardly anyone would ever wear (weird designs or colors), or the only sizes available were super tiny or super huge.

Thanks for the lovely photos, Jezer.

Occasionally I run into some stuff that is dubious. Rarely is found a true bargain with the exception of estate and yard sales.

Loves me some bird pictures and auto pictures. Jezer your pictures always amaze me.

Hello all.

Sorry there's no POTW this week.

I'm just back from a few days away sorting out the grand move.

I'll have a peeve and some new photos on Sunday.

It's OK, Jezer. You have a lot on your plate right now. Your peeves (and the photos) are always worth waiting for.
