I remember when the only way to get mashed potatoes was for someone to peel them first instead of pouring a white powder into a pot and added water.

I'm so old I remember when I would dress nicely for a flight (still do) and so would most everyone else. If they didn't, they stuck out like a sore thumb.

I'm so old I remember when passengers didn't spend 10 minutes arguing and cussing out the ticket agents, asking them "where they are from" (Asian person of color), telling them they're going to beat the eff out of them, and a whole lot more ugly stuff. I cannot believe that the police were not called on that male couple on their way to a funeral!

And to the skinny meth head Karen who "hates California?" Good. Stay Away. Forever. Arizona is unfortunate to have you. They don't want you either. Unbelievable.

People. did. not. act. like. this. They just didn't. This is the kind of stuff that makes us wish the 60's and 70's would come back. As long as we can keep the internet Although the internet is a large reason why this stuff now happens.

I'm so old I remember when a neighbor kid on our block had a paper route and playing cards clothespinned to his wheel spokes. ( nice memory) He said he did it because it's fun and made noise so that the people inside their houses knew their paper had arrived.

Yes! And my childhood public library had those old desks with the inkwells as well. They tore down the beautiful old Carnegie Library and replaced it with a bland modern building. Carnegie wouldn't have wanted to put his name on it

I remember watching Victory at Sea in movie theaters before TV.

Got me there. I watched World at War and Victory at Sea on PBS with dad when I was a little kid. The three older kids were too busy with things like band practice and science projects. Since mom was sleeping in, we sometimes watched things like the Deanna Durbin film festival. Good times.
