There’s probably some still around in houses built in the fifties. Maybe converted to storage. And the big ones in the basement of government buildings stocked with water and survival crackers. School room duck and cover drills. I remember that.

The old bomb shelters turned into the " Man Cave " and being a young lad and having friends in the city you could always find the girly magazines in your friends dads man cave..
Television - I remember TV was free - I lived in NYC - all we needed was rabbit ears.
TV shows ended at midnight with the Star Spangled Banner.
There were about 10 channels.
This kept us kids outside and exercising!!
