Greetings. I actually got something done today. I started working on my list of things I am not going to do this summer. Is forming a procrastinator's club on this list?
Sunday's Questions:
Is there a movie or play or concert you want to see this summer? I may see Jackson Browne in Bridgeport. I may see Camelot and some other Broadway shoew.
Have you ever attended a concert that was held in a baseball or football stadium? Yes. The Who in, I think, 1987 in Meadowlands, a country jamboree in the Meadowlands July 4, 1983 (95° that day in the shade that day; fortunately we sat in the shade but the girl I went with wondered why I didn't buy field tickets that day until people began to be carried off on gurneys)
If you had to pick one over the other, would you rather be a Campground host for the summer, or a roadie for a band on tour? Roadie
Do you attend state fairs? Yes, first one was in Becket, Mass. when I was nine in 1966, then one in Danbury shortly thereafter, Middletown, NY in 1972 when I was 15, then more recently Schaghticoke Fair in upstate New York.
Would you volunteer to be a judge at a chili cook-off? If I could sample.
Ever eat turkey that was deep-fried? No, would like to.
Well, I have to go buy some more paper for my list of things I am not doing. What about posting it digitally on CD?

Didn't look at the calendar of events, yet. I probably will go to some.

No.

Campground host.
Being a roadie is no fun. Though many people think that the life of a roadie is glamorous because he or she is touring with a well-known band, the job generally consists of a lot of hard work: they lug the gear, set up the instruments, manage the stage, run the sound, sell the merch, drive the bus, and generally do whatever it takes to make concerts possible. In most cases, the band members never directly talk to the crew. The road crew generally travels in a separate tour bus from the band members.
Do you attend state fairs?
Sometimes. When I have a fun company.
Would you volunteer to be a judge at a chili cook-off?
I don't have much experience with chili, because I don't cook that stuff. Any other cook-off, sure!
Ever eat turkey that was deep-fried?
I don't eat turkey. Find it dry and tasteless, like chewing on cardboard. Turkey needs a lot of help like dressing and gravy to be edible. I also don't eat deep fried food.
