I turn 42 on November 23rd. Parteee!!!! Everybody's invited. There's gonna be sex, drugs, rock and roll, chains, wips, strippers and lots of booze. Just don't tell my wife.
I am 43 and I have to tell you, besides a few extra pounds and a house I can't sell, things are great. My kids are good, I have a great husband, we live in a beautiful house that I hope to buy if the other one ever sells. I am happy and content with who I am. Life is good. I don't know why I feared 40 for so long. It isn't bad.
Your post made me think a minute about my life 42 ish. Not so very different than 22 ish. Almost like a do over. Going thru a divorce again. My boys that are grown have moved back in with me in my fixer up house with new mortgage. My new bf has made me get out and socialize again and have fun like I did in my 20ish yrs. So life is good. Im at a good place although this is not exactly how I thought it would be.
I guess I don't belong here anymore, LOL, I turned 43 last week.
