So Sunny, how is today going for not smoking? If you can just get through the first week it does seem to get easier with each day. I did have some bad days even recently but it does get easier. I just wished I could sleep for about a month and then the worst would be over but it doesn't work that way. No one will let me sleep for a month--not even my body!! Ha!! But you can do this!!

Hey there how long have you been smoke free? I told you it gets easier. A day will come where you won't like the odor of a burning cigarette.

Thanks for asking zonababe...it's now been 22 days!! Horray. Weird but one of my worst days was day 20. Not sure if it was the no smoking or not though, just a very blue day--all day. But I've been fine since then and you are so right...it does seem to be getting easier. I have not given myself the option of smoking again--I can't! Not after what I went through just before Christmas---I'll take a good warning and learn from it!!

The weird thing is I have never liked the smell of a cigarette burning. My parents use to smoke and I hated the smell and yet I started smoking---go figure!!

It's not easy Sunny-a day at a time, step by step. Cyn did it and it was hard but like she said she made it to day 22 now and that's over the hump.

You go, Sunny!

Some people find it helps to have a bottle of water around . . . suck on peppermint . . .

Aromatherapy can help, too . . . lavender for relaxation . . . peppermint to the temples for headache relief . . .

Check this link out - see the ear diagram and match up points for acupressure to Tobacco (points 1,4). Stimulate these points w/ your fingers. You might consider getting ear clips to go on those two points (or make clips).

A real big thing that helps is everyone right here cheering you on Sunny! I mean, come on, with all these people wanting the very best for you----it's not easy but keep as busy as you can. Laugh about anything you can!! Make it all a joke as much as you can--like the cow tales--great!! I have been really a mood and I try very hard to make light of it----easier for me then my poor DH!! But hey, it's no easy task! Keep busy, busy, busy!! I'm here for you!!

omg I guess I look at everything more dramatic right now.
This morning I thought it would be cool to have some walnuts to crack open this evening.
My head was spinning just a minute ago I look in all the cabinets and NO nutcrackers!!

I tried the can opener but the nuts just sailed across the kitchen so I had to put some shoes on and head back to the grocery store to buy me nutcrackers.... You think they would be over by the nuts.........no wasnt there, maybe by the party supplies cork screw etc. NOOOOOOOOO I had to go to kitchen supplies and 3.25 for nut cracxkers with pic. or 4.25 for this plastic looking one that was good for crackin lobster tails....such a pain such a pain and omg I feel so weak right now I can barely crack open a nut .. I should have just got a hammer..

Is this like pregnancy? I have weird urges each day lol. Cyni and others you are support I want you to know that. Especially since I knew people who worked for RJR and that place was huge back in the day it too literally all of Winston Salem skyline.

Ill never forget our schools use to giver Tobacco tours and seeing my first tobacco worm.
