http://th302.photobucket.com/albums/nn91/RebeccaPT_2008/Funny%20Cats/th_thm_phpuz4mHP.gif (broken link) THAT'S cuz when I hypnotized you...I told you you're head was in a vice....
and that if you thought about smoking, the vice would tighten on your head...pretty tricky, hugh?
Welcome to the world of stopping smoking SunnyKayak! I am on day 19 of no smoking. I am using the nicotine patch.
The hospital gave me one of those sponges that is on a stick that they use to keep patients mouths wet when they can't drink water. It was a great help for me. I don't know where they can be purchased but everytime I wanted to put something in my mouth or had that urge for a cigarette I would use the sponge that I dipped in a glass of water. Worked very well for me. I think with the stick on the sponge it was similar to a cigarette and the good thing was I ended up drinking more water everyday!!
wow congrats! My dad did had hypnosis for weight loss and it worked GREAT, I truly beleive in the power of hypnosis for help with strong urges. Good luck!
Nuts work. I keep nuts on hand. I worry about the candy for my teeth and I'm not a big fan of candy usually anyhow so I bought nuts. I am very curious to learn how hypnosis works so I will keep an eye on this thread. I wish you the very best of luck on this my friend. And you are correct when you said all the encouragement from here helps. For me, the people on my food thread were a huge part in helping me with their non-stop encouragement and always being there for me! Each and everday they give me words of encouragement. It's wonderful!
