Anyway it was nice to hear her voice again.
I'm trying to decide if I'm just in a season of my life that I'm finding so many folks downsizing or I just didn't pay attention much before? Glad sister is doing better she is being kept in prayers.

LOL Jaxson, no I cannot . I love cars and it was one of my dreams to be a mechanic but I was guided in a different direction.

Had a nice time at Disneyland and California Adventure ... Here are some pics for your viewing pleasure

The new love of my life

Here's me in the Radiator Springs Cars ride:

Yes ... The cars in the attraction actually talk

Here's the pic they took of me as we approached the finish line in the grand finale (I'm the one on the right with the hand upraised )

Worked in the garage, ran some errands and went shopping for a few things, it was a good day and the sun was out as well.

Went shopping and bought four pairs of shoes Had a nice Vietnamese-style lunch and ran into an old friend of mine at the Citadel Outlets

Also, managed to get that vanilla soft-serve cone I've been craving at McDonald's on the way home ... Yes, Chatteress is happy as a Chatteress

A good thing happened around here today kind of for everybody. Thursday afternoon two brothers, ages 7 and 5, were playing in the yard of their grandmother after getting off the school bus. About 4 their grandmother looked out to check on them and they were gone. After a 17 hour man hunt the boys were found walking along a road about 4 miles from Grandma. They went outside their "don't go past" line and got lost. But they were found cold and hungry but safe and sound. The amazing thing was what they did overnight, in the rain. The 7 year old found a big rock they could get under and laid down with him up against his little brother's back. Then they used leaves for a blanket. You could hear a huge sigh of relief all over this area.

So good they are safe! The five year old will quickly forget about it but the seven year old has learned a valuable lesson or two. He did great taking care of his little brother.
