Today is my oldest son's birthday. For some reason I remember his birth to the littlest details. Yes we were and are the happiest parents in the whole wide world. What a true blessing, thank you Lord!

Well nothing good is happening yet...

Except that looking at the DOT traffic cams and weather reports is making me optimistic that I might make it up to Denver for my concert tomorrow.

Which brings me to the good thing that will probably happen tomorrow.

I'm probably going to be on TV!

My 25th GWAR concert will be televised live on AXSTV channel Midnight eastern time, 9PM Pacific and everything in between.

Disclaimer: GWAR is weird, violent, offensive, and not for the faint of heart. They don't take themselves seriously though, I promise. It's all a (rather bad) joke. Actually they are dear friends of mine, very sweet people who support causes like animal rescue, surprisingly normal and down to earth guys. The "blood" is just colored water.

On the downside it's going to be in the teens when I exit the concert soaked to the skin, so I'll be staring down hypothermia. Should be fun!

That's the sort of thing I would never have fun with regardless of my age or century of existence. However, you are clearly not the only one who enjoys it. I like your additional note about the group. So have tons of fun and don't end up in hospital with hypothermia while the nurses are saying, "Gawdamighty! This isn't blood!"

Working with a friend of mine today we spent this morning doing some volunteer work helping a single mother with some issues that she had in her self-employed business. Things went well and worked out better then we had first imagined. She was so very happy with the outcome of the project in helping with her security.
