Haha! Great stories (and thanks for the recipe!!!) - makes me feel SO much better. I remember watching an episode of Myth Busters where they TRIED to make a skunk spray and it wouldn't! My dog just doesn't get it. You'd think after THIS many skunks SOMETHING in his highly trained brain would say, "Oh... that think makes me sick! Let it eat the cat food!"
It is a mixture of raw sewage, burning rubber, garlic, and death. Poor you that your dog actually KILLED the skunk. Once mine gets hit - he uses his face to plow the earth... skunk gets away.
