People that stare at you and don't stop staring. I went out to dinner tonight with a deaf friend and I know sign language is not something you see every day, but seriously, stare a bit and get over it, don't keep staring and staring and staring and staring.
I think the only reason I would stare is because I think knowing sign language is cool. I wouldn't stare longer than I need to. But you are right. Stare for a bit and get over it.

Yeah, this guy stared at us through the whole entire dinner and couldn't even eat his food properly because he was so busy gawking at us.
You should have told him "take a picture, it lasts longer"
Some people are just rude. Curiosity is one thing but move on.
I think I might use that line in the future.
The other day, someone took a picture of me using my computer. What they didn't realize is that 1) I can see light, so I can see the flash and 2) I can hear the camera go "click."
People that claim people as relatives when they are not related. You must have a common progenitor. Therefore, your mom's sisters husband is not your uncle, they are your aunts husband. When your cousin gets married, you gain no relatives. No marriage gains you relatives, including your own. If both parents are only children, you have no aunts or uncles. If your sibling marries someone with children or grandchildren, you do not become a step great grand uncle or anything else.

Um ... I beg to differ on this one ... I've always considered my aunt's husband and uncle's wife to be relatives as my cousins are their children. To each his own. *shrug*

I'm with you on this one Chatteress. And according to The Genealogy Forum: Beginners' Center: Naming Trends"Uncle - in American society this term can refer to a man in four different relative positions: father's brother; mother's brother; father's sister's husband; mother's sisters's husband."
Why do I get so frustrated when it comes to answering questionnaires that needs to be completed? It's making me mad. I don't know how to say things to make them look professional.

WTF? I've never heard this system before. Everyone I know counts marriage and adoption as being related as well.
