why is that when you pick up a baby one of the first two things you do is start to sway either back n forth or side to side and pat the bottom?

I know the answer to the land property thing.... if you buy a plot of land it is only the top portion. You have to also buy the mineral and mining rights to a certain depth if you want to protect yourself/land from being undermined and having someone else finding oil under your land.

I thought of this in another thread, which is AliceT's Pet Peeve thread for today, and it's about Traffic Jams.

Why do they call it Rush Hour, when traffic isn't even moving on the freeway? It doesn't look like anybody is in a rush, that's for sure!
