Had to look that one up... Snowbird? She seems to have peaked a bit before my time, but I do recognize some of her songs.

...sigh...you kids today with your hip-hop and urban synth....

Happy Thanksgiving to our American friends. Enjoy your turkeys and football games. I'll probably catch some of that Green Bay game for the Favre ceremony.

Thanks. I will enjoy the turkey but not football. I HATE football! Having dinner at my step-daughter's house. I hope she doesn't put on a game.

I'm with you. Hate football. No one at our family gathering watched it today. It was a very good day. My daughter is home after living in Asia for a year, and my sister and her s.o. informed us that after a 15-year engagement, they got married last weekend. He needed to go on her insurance, lol. But her daughter bought a Just Married cake and we celebrated! My mom is 87 and doing well after open heart surgery in September and happy to be surrounded by her kids and grandchildren. Lots to be thankful for this year.

I have a very small strip of land in front of my business, might take 20 min to cut with a push mower. Anyway, I notice insects more than anything. The ground wasps making their nests in the ground this year is nothing like I have ever seen. On an average year, there might be a thousand burrows on that little strip of land, but this year, every inch is covered. When the spring comes, there will be millions coming just from my little piece of land. It looks like it will be a wasp invasion, has anyone noticed the ground being tilled up on your place?

I've been listening to this song a lot. (And no, the dude lip-synching is not the real singer. But he's totally into it.)
