IWe are hopefully, depending on the job situation, ripping out this horrifying carpet in February and putting in hardwood.
We did that a few years back. We still have carpet upstairs but downstairs is all hardwood. Love it. So much easier to keep clean than carpet. Especially in a smallish house. No mudroom, no "entryway" or anything like that. Between dogs and kids (and husbands ) keeping carpet clean was impossible. Hard floors? Just wipe up any mess and voila!
A dust mop? Yep..got one and use it on my wood floors...(though not as often as I should)...
I would love a pair of those!
We decided to tear our carpeting in our dining room this past spring b/c hardwood was under the carpet & ended up tearing up all the carpeting in the house. Had to move out of the house for a few days due to the polyutherine..but SO worth it.
I have asked for a Haan steam mop for CMas
