DH has a stockpile of the throwback Pepsi. I haven't seen the Dr. Pepper or the Mtn Dew. I had a Dr. Pepper with my Chinese. Hadn't had one in a long time.
The mall we went to had a 2-story merry-go-round. I like to watch little kids so we sat near that. Turns out it also had a single tea-cup a-la Disneyland. There were a couple of teenage girls going crazy on it. Couldn't convince DH to make fools of ourselves. He came up with the lame excuse that he wouldn't fit. (He wouldn't, but it looked like SO much fun!)
Dew - last time I went in a Teacup, my (now former) BIL turned that disc so strong, I about lost it. I don't think I "unspun" in my head for an hour. Haven't been in one since. I'm thinking DD was 5ish....

Excuse me because I am about to do some serious bragging....
I am the tea-cup QUEEN. I can make Navy Seals loose their lunch.
Dew - my fams are not strong in that regard. DH is pushing it riding the Matterhorn. DS and DD can at least do Space Mountain with me. Last time we went, I went on the rollercoaster at California Adventure. Did OK....DD screamed the whole time - exept when she saw the camera was coming up - and she smiled and raised her arms just in time for the picture..... They did the Tower of Fear or whatever the thing is called - and were green when they came out. Said never again. I didn't even attempt that one.
Tower of Terror. Which I love. (Sorry, I'm annoying in my cast-iron-stomach-ness. )
Hmm. Tower of Terror was kind of boring to me. It has been a few years though, maybe it is better now.
I enjoy the rides the best when I am on one with someone who isn't as comfortable on them. Usually just as the ride starts and you are picking up speed, I ask "what do you think would happen if the track / zip line / bungee cord broke when we were on it? This was the best when I went on the Skycoaster and as they said 3,2,1, pull I asked my friend "if our cord broke, do you think we would clear that parking lot over there?" and then I pulled the release cord. You start 300 feet in the air. She screamed until she lost her voice. It was great. Oh. Did I forget to mention that I am evil?
The air was so fresh and cool near the stream. There were huge patches of wildflowers in bloom and mallard ducks paddling around. It was beautiful.
But the steep hills home were killer. We vowed we would ride every day until we could take the hills without stopping.
