I like the powdered lemonades for a "fun" drink but they're bad for your teeth. DH drinks non-sugared ice tea. Mostly we drink water.

Our special occasion water is San Pelegrino or Perrier. Love them both.

I'm drinking Lactaid milk right now. Usually I drink soda or water.

Finally, I got some new to me work clothes. We finally had some money since my dad gave me birthday money yesterday when I saw him at the parade. We went to Goodwill, and got a bunch of stuff for the same price as one item at a normal store. Some of them still have their tags on them, too. Woohoo. I love thrift stores. Another reason I like them is that it is much easier for me to find clothes that fit our standard of modesty at them than at normal stores.

I might try these. They can't be worse for our teeth than soda, right? Is there a brand you like the taste of best?

psr: Did you have a birthday? (You mentioned "birthday money".)

If so.... Happy Birthday!

Glad you found some good bargains.

Country Time. I get the great big cans and make a glass at a time. I love lemonade. It's my favorite beverage. But I rarely order it in restaurants. There's a lot of bad lemonade out there.

And Arnold Palmers! I love a good Arnold Palmer.

Hey all.....

DS and I just got home from taking Macie to the dog park. She is a tired girl now. It actually turned out to be a gorgeous day. DH will have to give Macie a bath though. Lots of chasing tennis balls in the creek. So, she's dirty and a bit fragrant to boot.

I'm a water or ice tea (unsweetened) person. I'll drink a diet soda occasionally. That's about it. DH loves soda but I don't buy it often because he absolutely would live on that or lemonade. I too buy the big container of Countrytime. We also make KoolAid here. I don't usually like sweet drinks but I do really like black cherry KoolAid. And I like San Pelegrino too. I had some last night actually - with some lemon. It's a nice more "festive" drink than plain water to me....

I haven't had black cherry KoolAid in years! I'll have to put that on the grocery list.

DH said, "Let's take a drive" last night. We drove to one of the regional airports and there on the curb with his backpack was DS1. He'd hitched a ride from a friend with a small plane. Friend was going to Sedona but he dropped off DS. Such a happy surprise.

Good thing I had cleaned all the junk off the guest bed on Friday in a spurt of wild energy.

Happy bray psr. I won't laugh. I remember feeling old and very wise at 35, which I wasn't, but I have a feeling you're much more mature than myself.

I was very mature at 18, and then went steadily downhill from there.

Beverages - I like lemonade, tea, anything - but my thing is I have ice water and flavor it with a dash of whatever, so I basically have flavored water. I hate the taste of plain flat water. Yuk.

Hopes, I think I told you about my lemon cucumber water, but you can infuse water with any sort of fruit, for variety. Or my other favorite is to get club soda and put a shot of Italian syrup in, you know, the kind they have at coffee shops. Yum.
