Thanks so much, mm, Dew and straw - I managed to find my big girl panties at some point this morning, so I'm feeling a bit better! I super appreciate all of the kind words - it definitely helped. I haven't made it to the car to scream yet, but I am totally going to keep that in mind - it's funny, because that was part of one of my client's crisis management plans! I remember because it was kind of quirky, but very effective.

And we just got some good news from DH's company - their crisis management team may be willing to pick up some of the cost of our clean-up/replacement expenses. I seriously love this company - in a day and age where it seems like employees are expendable, they really try to take care of theirs.

You and me both Zimbo....I missed the memo that things in life were simply good or bad, right or wrong....no inbetween. And other people's choices are our business to look down from upon our high horses over....

Hehe!

Quiche is DS's favorite meal, and we were out and busy all day yesterday and he didn't get his fave birthday meal so I'm making it for tonight.

Coop - slap me as well....

LOL - so finally getting around to going through the remainder of the containers that were not allowed back into my freshly cleaned closet without a closer look....a box of scarves I forgot about! Scarves seem to be back in style so I need to see which ones are still useable and which ones need to spend more time.."resting"....Found several of the "bow-tie" -ish types popular in the 80's when I graduated college....I'm thinking those will stay in the bottom of the bin for awhile longer....

Good news, Ewag. (I could use some good news.)

Made a quick trip to Costco. Total waste of time and gas. They never have the goodies you all drool over. Worst Costco evah. But I won't have to buy toilet paper for months so I guess it all evens out.

Now I have to go look for that thread........

Eleven was a great age. So was twelve. Thirteen mostly is, too, strangely enough. (Not quite so much with the girls, who sort of became possessed by thirteen.)

And its not the Wal-Mart you guys think it is. Its not in my town this time.

I have to be there from 9-4, which is awesome and I hope they keep my hours at that.
TG got a promotion!!!!
Just had to share, he's only been there two months, I am so proud of him.

Anyways, I have like a million loads of laundry to do and I have to find a way to get a shirt to wear to work, how I can have all this shizzit and nothing navy blue to wear to work is beyond me...
