The new people are always horrified at how Angelinos do things. They also don't like that we eat so many donuts.

In other news... I don't know why I go to the P&R threads. Those people are so rude. I'm half tempted to just start posting outrageous opinions just to watch everyone go ballistic.
It wouldn't matter what the opinion was......there would be some nut defending it within an inch of his life and another nut claiming it was pure evil and anyone who believed it was not only evil but ignorant and a few other choice words also..It's impossible to carry on a discussion over there...

I was taken by surprise the first time I went there a few years ago.

The moderators seemed politically biased, hypothetically, of course, clearly favoring the conservatives.

For this and all other reasons you mentioned, I rarely go there.

Thanks. Yes, P&OC is way more whackadoodle than ever these days. I really didn't know there were so many conspiratory theorists in the world. Some posters there remind me of this cartoon.

There seems to be plenty of whackadoodles and extremists on both ends of the spectrum. And a good portion of them don't seem able to carry on a conversation without insults and name calling. And they are all sure they are 100% right and anyone who diagrees or sees things differently is 100% wrong so I figure there is nothing to be gained from posting there. I don't care if whackos agree or not.

My friends driving test is today.
She is using my car. (You have to provide your own.)
I think I am more worried than she is.

But I now know why there is a bar across from the DMV, when the little snowflakes go to take their test using mom and dads car, mom and/or dad can go over and ease the pain a little bit...

Granted she's not my child, she may as well be, she's 20 going on 21 this year and is worse than I am, she's me but A MILLION times worse. I get so pissed at her and then see myself doing some of that same stuff and it makes me want to fall in a deep dark hole filled with rabid wolves.
