Wonder how Zimbo and her "House o' Fever" is doing?

Here's a little something for the Zimbo family (hope they all feel better):

Hehe! Took me about a millisecond. I love my DH with a goatee, but when he has a 'stache he looks like a 70's porn star. In all of DD's baby pictures, there he is with the porn-star 'stache.

Aww....thanks MM! DS still has a roaring fever, poor kid, and he's going to miss the last day of school. But I think he will crawl on hands and knees to the waterfight after school.

LOL at porn-star 'stache....

DH didn't have a porn-star 'stache. But his nose is rather ..... prominent. And he wears glasses....so you can imagine. He looked like those fake glasses, nose, 'stache thingies.....I much prefer the 'stache-less look. But it did take me awhile to pinpoint exactly what was different. A long while. A really really long while.

My DS works for a tiny organic farm here by our house. We get our farm share once a week. I didn't add the eggs onto my farm share order when I signed up because they were so expensive by the dozen. Thank goodness I didn't since he brings home the odd eggs.

The eggs are so cute. Brown, white, green, speckled.....

It's likely your skin will be discolored there---probably pink at first, later white. As the years go on, it won't be as noticeable. But tanning will make it show more because scars don't tan. Since it's on your face, you can use concealer and foundation if you mind the discoloration. I'm sure the scar is going to be less annoying to you than whatever you had removed.

Sometimes I think that, but then I remind myself the very first time I joined a parenting website (different place than here) was to cope with problems in my life at that time.

Previously, I had been hanging out on debate forums, but I joined a parenting website forum specifically for problems I was dealing with as a parent. Hence, my first posts on that website were very intense, you'd probably say dramatic.

I think it's common for people to seek a parenting website or forum during difficult times. Parenting is hard! For me, I had to turn to the internet because nobody in my real life could relate to the specific challenges I was facing at that time.

Morning all!

Hey mm - my @##$%^%^& internet is still giving me grief. I've had 4 dudes out in the last month, and basically they've all said that the cable (DSL) in the area is bad, and that they won't do anything more than put a bandaid on it, because FIOS has been run in the neighborhood.

In fact it's hanging on the pole out the front of my house. But it's not run to any houses yet. I called Verizon yesterday and said 'can you please please hook it up for moi, I need it' but of course it's not in their 'system' yet and I'm to wait until some nice person leaves a flyer on my door to announce it's arrival.

So I have a quandary. Do I wait for the FIOS man, or do I get another internet provider? I am being driven crazy by the in and outedness of my DSL signal. I am not a patient person. I'll be lucky if this post even makes it through the ether and into your humble abodes.

What to do? How to stop myself from murdering the next Verizon representative? I dunno. What a PITA.

Anyway, how's everyone doing?
