Cereal doesn't count as a meal. Neither does a value meal, unless it's just some days. Poor diets can be blamed for overweight kids. They're fed junk, therefore they're not very entergetic so they eat more and feel lazy. They perform poor in school. Or underweight kids.

Cook your kids 3 meals a day.

Man it ticks me off how people pass a bowl of cereal as breakfast.

My daughter didn't like breakfast foods. She used to eat soup and toast for breakfast before school when she was little.

You should've done a little more research before jumping to the "blame game" with childhood obesity. There are NUMEROUS factors that contribute. Some of these don't even have to do with diet and parents cooking three meals. I for one have a son with a type of Cushings Syndrome. He has been persecuted for his weight since the age of five. He is having surgery to remove a tumor from his pituitary gland this summer.

You can revoke my standing in the mother of the year running, because my husband ran out and got the family kolaches this morning. We DID have strawberries and grapes, though. BUT!!! OMG! He gave them some doughnut holes.
