If you want to do an actual gift vs a gift card, any Nerf gun would be perfect, but I agree, you can never go wrong with a gift card at that age.

Just thought of something else... Middle school boys are in to AXE products. A gift box of assorted AXE stuff also.

NO KIDDING....when our kids were in middle school there was a haze outside the boys locker room from all the AXE stuff being sprayed in there . My 16 year old still likes to get AXE stuff in his stocking at Christmas.

Hahaha I agree that a good "real" gift is axe stuff! Other than that, I suggest a giftcard to GameStop or Target.
