Aiden has been around for EVER. But I guess now it is "trendy" according to you.

We chose the name at a time when the name was not very popular. We just really liked the naem and are irish so it seemd logical.
Aren't you special for your particularly wonderful choice and all those other parents such... what did you call them? Idiots?

One person's stripper is another person's sister. Or both. Who cares?

I don't think you need to to worry about Declan being too trendy. It's just special enough.
Just like him! Super special. Lucky him.

We named our daughter Paige.

Here's another dumb stripper name........... Amber

How is Amber a stripper's name? I know a handful of women named Amber and that would never even cross my mind.

You seem incredibly judgmental. I can understand criticizing names that aren't real names (like Blanket) but some of these names you're criticizing are rather common and apt to offend some parents on here.

Why don't you just list them all and get it out of your system? That's obviously the point of the thread. Your chance to tell off all the parents who lost the memo that they were supposed to run all their choices past the guy who calls them "f-ing idiots".

Is it mean to mention that the only Declans I know personally are both dogs?

Revenge is a popular TV show... I am sure many Declans will come from that.

^^I once read that many prostitutes choose "Sonya" (and its variations) b/c it sounds exotic. I won't say if that's one of my kids' names.

I do know somebody who announced they would name their daughter Persephone. Fortunately, they had a son.
