No song gets quite the reaction from my 4.5 mo old than The ABC Song. Her face lights up and she gets a BIG smile. Works pretty well to calm her down sometimes, too. It's probably because when she was born, it was one of the very few kid songs we could remember the 'words' to, so she heard it a LOT!
INCHWORM - I have loved that song since childhood and sing it to my grandsons while putting them to bed or just snuggling. Danny Kaye sung it so beautifully with the school children singing chorus. It is from the move Hans Christian Anderson (1952).

I sing the ABC song to my grandson, but it's the Three Stooge's "Swing the Alphabet" version. We sang it when we were kids. We watched an awful lot of The Three Stooges. There was no Sesame Street in those days.
B-A-bay, B-E-bee, B-I-bicky-bi, B-O bo, bicky-bi bo, B-U bu, bicky bi bo bu.
C-A-cay, C-E-cee, C-I-cicky-ci, C-O co, cicky-ci co, C-U cu, cicky ci co cu.
D-A-day, D-E-dee, D-I-dicky-di, D-O do, dicky-di do, D-U du, dicky di do du.
It makes him smile. When he learns to talk, I'll teach it to him.
My only sunshine
You make me happy
When the skies are grey
You'll never know dear
How much I love you
Please don't take
My sunshine away
The other night dear
As I lay sleeping
I dreamed I held you in my arms
When I awoke dear
I was mistaken
And I held
My head
And cried
My only sunshine
You make me happy
When the skies are grey
You'll never know dear
How much I love youPlease don't take
My sunshine away
My only sunshine
You make me happy
When the skies are grey
You'll never know dear
How much I love you
Please don't take
My sunshine away
Please don't take my sunshine away
Please don't take my sunshine away
Please don't take my sunshine away
Please don't take my sunshine away
Please don't take my sunshine away
I leave out the second verse after my daughter asked "why did someone take her Sunshine away?"

(I tried to link it twice but ran into problems.)
I loved that movie. My kids used to beg me to sing "Inchworm" when they were falling asleep or not feeling well. I also used to be able to sing "Thumbelina" and some of "The Ugly Duckling". I'm going to brush up on them for my grandson.
My oldest daughter made up her own version of "Ugly Duckling" about her little sister. It went:
There one was a stinky (insert sister's name) with didees all soggy and brown;
and the other kids, when they smelled what she did, said:
(Hold nose and make gagging sounds), get out of town
(Hold nose, etc.) get out
(Hold nose, etc.) get out
(Hold nose, etc.) get out of town.
Oh, well, what do you expect from an 8-year-old? But it sure was funny at the time.
I sang all of the usual songs to my children--You are my sunshine, Rock-a-Bye Baby, ABC's, etc. DD insisted we sing the Barney I Love You song every night for a few years.
My H also sang "I've got you babe" to DD. I sang a song I made up about mommy loving her babies and good night. It wasn't a great song, but they both loved it.
